About Raymond
Ray is an attorney in the firm’s St. Louis, Missouri, Office, where he now has the privilege of representing victims who have been tragically affected by mesothelioma.
Prior to joining MRHFM, Ray represented the City of St. Louis - in civil litigation and then served as a legal advisor to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department - for over twenty years. Prior to City Service, he represented corporations and other business organizations (LLCs, Partnerships, retail stores, restaurants, etc.), insurance companies, insureds, individuals, doctors, hospitals, other health care providers and professionals in civil lawsuits. Additionally, Ray taught law-related business, government, and ethics courses at local colleges; and he also worked part-time in the regional warehouse for United Parcel Service as a Member of the Local Teamsters Union.
Ray received his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law and bachelor’s degree from Truman State University (then Northeast Missouri State University) in Kirksville, Missouri.
Outside of the office, Ray enjoys traveling throughout the U.S.A. as well as Abroad with Family and Friends, urban hikes, serving on neighborhood volunteer boards, watching sports live - or watching sports and news on TV with his canine buddy Oscar Meyer.
Ray is licensed in Missouri and Illinois. He has been a member of several national, state, local, and specialty bar (legal) associations over the years including the Missouri Asian American Bar Association on the Board of Directors; and Maritime Law Association.

Experience
Since 1998, Ray has been working on civil litigation cases - from inception through verdict/appeals when needed, and many more scores of cases to settlement or other favorable resolution on behalf of clients. Ray began his career working as law clerk while attending law school and conducted litigation-based research for plaintiffs’ personal injury attorneys then headquartered in Wood River, Illinois. After law school, Ray worked as an attorney in private practice for St. Louis City law firms until 2005, when the City of St. Louis hired Ray as an Assistant City Counselor. He has been a speaker and authored papers in the areas of litigation-discovery, investigation, legal-business ethics, and law enforcement. In April 2026, Ray returned to the private sector and joined MRHFM to exclusively represent and focus on helping victims of mesothelioma.
